After graduating from Helix High School in 19**, I went to Grossmont College. I left college after one year to travel with a musical show called "Up with People." However, the Vietnam war was on and I was drafted into the Army. I received an early out to go back to college and after getting married, I graduated from Bethany College in Santa Cruz with a dual major in Psychology and Bible/Theology. I worked with high school and college students in Northern California for about five years. After moving back to San Diego, I taught one year at the junior high level at a private school. Needing some immediate cash flow, I went to work for Coca Cola of San Diego. After 8 1/2 years with Coca Cola, I left to help a brand new business get started called The Parts Dept., Inc. The business folded after two years and I found myself looking for a job for the next two years. Kelesy-Jenney Business College and a company called Creative Computer Consulting both hired me, although Kelsey-Jenney became a fulltime job after one year. I taught computer and business courses and students earned an AA degree with a specific focus like business or accounting. I
started teaching at Madison September, 1999. Because of owning my own business
called Computing Made
Easy (CMe),
I began teaching ROP Business and Computer Applications. In 2002 Madison opened
up two sections of AP Psychology and I have been privileged to be its first
instructor. I love teaching and desire to have a positive impact on students.
